Every year the Columbus Day holiday weekend brings with it a 3-day party in San Francisco to celebrate Fleet Week. A spectacular airshow is the headliner event on Saturday and Sunday. The first 10 photos in this gallery were taken on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 from the Marin Headlands during the Fleet Week airshow practice session. This is an F/A-18 Super Hornet.
