After 21 hours in the air, and many more hours on the ground at various airports, we finally got to Johannesburg around 5:00 PM local time. We checked into our hotel which was adjacent to the airport, had dinner, and went to bed. The next morning we took a commercial flight to Maun, Botswana, where we finally began our adventure.
