As we were driving around, Felix heard wildebeest in the distance. He got us to them just in time to watch them make the dangerous river crossing! They'd selected a shallow, rocky spot which would appear to be safe. However, more wildebeest die from injured legs crossing rivers in rocky spots like this one than die from being eaten by crocodiles. It's almost a Hobson's choice.
