Botswana and Tanzania 2010

We connected with this bush plane for the 1-hour flight to our third and final camp in Botswana. We were headed for Lagoon Camp, one of 3 Kwando-operated camps we visited on our first trip to Africa in 2006. We wanted to return because the Lagoon concession is often home to wild dogs. In 2006, we were incredibly fortunate to be there when a wild dog pack was denning. We arrived the day after the pups made their first appearance outside their den. We were completely charmed by the family group.
