Botswana and Tanzania 2010

Felix delivered us to an airstrip near the Grumeti River Lodge where we got on a charter flight to Arusha. After a 2-hour wait, we got on a flight from Arusha to Nairobi, arriving around 4:30 PM. We got a day visa at the Nairobi airport and were transported to a day room in a nearby hotel. Around 8:30 PM that evening, we departed the hotel and headed back to the Nairobi airport to catch our 11:00 PM flight to London. Upon arrival in London, we spent a few more hours at Heathrow and then boarded our flight for SFO. All in, it took us about 40 hours to get home. The good news is that throughout our trip, there were no surprises or delays. Even with all the connections we had to make, everything went off without a hitch.
