Machaba surprised us with an outdoor luncheon feast, complete with Persian carpets, pillows, and a full bar. This is a good time to mention the first-rate service and amenities we received at Machaba. It's a wonderful, well-managed camp with staff who clearly enjoy what they're doing. There's even spotty internet service, a first for us in Botswana.
