After waiting an hour or so for the boat drivers, we're off (12:15 PM). Finally.<br />

Someone had the really good idea to purchase umbrellas. We would have been toast without them. <br />

The working plan was to go up-river for about 6 hours to a research camp where we would have dinner and get a few hours sleep, then leave before dawn to continue up-river for about 4 more hours to our destination, Doli Lodge in the Central African Republic. Then, somehow, we would all see the gorillas and the Pygmies and the bai in the 1.5 days we had there before re-tracing our steps back to Ouesso.
