South Africa and Zambia 2008

After a great first experience in Africa in 2007, David and I set off for 2 new African countries in August, 2008. Our trip was arranged by The Africa Adventure Company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We flew to Johannesburg, then spent the next 2 weeks in 4 different game parks. First up was Mala Mala, a private game reserve in South Africa bordering Kruger National Park. We'd heard about the amazing camps in this part of South Africa, so we decided to try one. Rattray's was suggested because it's small and very near Kruger. Since there are no longer fences around the national park, we were hopeful the wildlife viewing would be good.
