Falklands, South Georgia, Antarctic Peninsula 2012

From January 12 - Feb 1, 2012, Mary, Sami, David and I traveled 3352 nautical miles (3857 miles) through the far southern oceans to experience the austral summer where few people go. We began in Buenos Aires, then moved on to Ushuaia, Argentina, at the tip of South America to board our ship. It was an amazing journey, blessed by calm seas, near-perfect weather, an incredible abundance of wildlife, and, saving the best for last..... great travel companions.<br />
