Costa Rica 2016

Violet sabrewing, the largest hummingbird in Costa Rica. To me, it was also the most beautiful. You wouldn't believe how many photos I tried to take of the sabrewings. Regardless of whether they were at feeders or flying around in the wild, they seemed to find very dark spots in which to hover, meaning most shots were blurry. I got so excited when I came across the ones in focus, I stuck most of them in the gallery :) Just kidding.
