Galapagos Underwater 2015

This spotted eagle ray was the first large animal we saw. The dive site was a place called Gordon Rocks, world famous in the diving community. The water was cold and the conditions less than ideal - strong current and lots of surge. The 2 dives at Gordon Rocks were by far the most difficult I've ever done. The dive operators understood all this and made each diver do a check-out dive in a calm inlet before proceeding to the main dive site. That was a first for me.
