That's Marylou snorkeling. Since the whales were right next to the zodiak, it seemed reasonable to think you could see them underwater. Not so. The water was an orange-brown color and filled with sediment, so even though we could see whales not 2 feet from Marylou, she couldn't see them through her mask. This was truly unfortunate because an underwater view is the only way to see the whole whale.
