Burrowing Owl, etc January 9, 2010

We were walking way out past the last pond when we heard something approaching (fast) from behind. We turned around and thought we were hallucinating. Sled dogs in San Rafael???? There were about 5 small teams of dogs being "mushed". Even though these women have bikes, they were actually being dragged by the dogs. The other dog teams were dragging sleds behind them.
