Otter, Green Heron, etc. March 2009

I think this is the same bird that flew off the post. I was walking along past the third pond and we startled each other. A few feet further on, a white-tailed kite was perched on a very low post just a few feet from me, but as with the hawk, we didn't see each other. When we finally did, he flew faster than I focused :-)
