It was hard for me to leave the parking lot today because it will likely be the last time I'll see the 2010 hawk family near their nest. Just as they've done for at least the past 2 years, the parents successfully raised all their chicks this year.... seeing them for the last time was bittersweet. We look forward to watching the whole process again next spring. End of the 2010 journal.
