2023 Richmond Ospreys

$There were lots of ospreys in the air. When reviewing photos, I nearly deleted the one on the left because the eye was out of focus, but then the next photo came along shot a fraction of a second later and the eye was crisp. Upon closer inspection, it appears the osprey's nictitating membrane (inner eyelid) was deployed and then retracted between photos.$
