2020 Bay Area Ospreys

As noted, ospreys feed on fish. Every now and then one will accidentally catch a waterbird, but that's similar to a shark mistaking a surfer for a seal.

Ospreys are skilled hunters, successfully grabbing a fish about every 4th try. Unfortunately, in Richmond the ospreys hunt on the other side of the point, a short flight for them but out of sight from their nests, so we couldn't watch the nests and fishing ospreys at the same time.
