Tale of Marin County Bobcats

This guy is the Brutus of the bobcat world.... big and powerful, but probably young because he's not yet habituated to people milling around. <br />

David and I gave up on him and started hiking up a very steep 1.2 mile trail heading for the ridgeline. Just the day before David was with the crew when they spotted a bobcat hunting in that general area. David stayed with the crew and the cat for over an hour, but he didn't have a camera.<br />

This is probably a good time to tell you that although I have excellent distance vision (20-15 with glasses), I sometimes miss the obvious :-)
