Out the door. The force of the wind smacking into my face was incredible. And the folks who say there's no sensation of falling must have gone out a different way. In an instant I saw the plane disappear - either it went straight up, or I was going straight down.... hmmm. Exiting the plane and the first few seconds of free fall were terrifying, but after that it was kind of awesome, and very, very loud. In addition, my ears suffered through the rapid pressure changes, and my body got pounded by the wind.
