It had been too long since my friends, Carrie and Rick, and I had seen each other. Kona has been my refuge for nearly 40 years. When Carrie and Rick decided to move there several years ago, it was extremely good news for me :) Not possible to get tired of the scenery.... this was the view off the lanai on my first night.
